Nyah Hunt has taken off her shoes, and propped her feet up on the dash. She's watching the sights buzz right by her if there's anything to be seen.
At the speed Victor drives, it's a colorful blur. He seems to have absolutely no fear about the cops... one would wonder why that is.
Nyah Hunt looks away from the colorful blur, and then to the radio. She's tempted to fiddle with the tuner to find what's on, but she leaves it be not wanting to be intrusive.
Victor Synn glances over, "If you want music, feel free." he comments, "I'm open minded."
Nyah Hunt leans back to fiddle with the stations..static, "If we actually weren't going so fast, and weren't out of the cities in a matter of moments. I could find something." She flips the radio off..She doesn't have any tapes on hand.
From outside, Swindle is bein' a jeep n'junk, while his player tries to wake up.
From outside, Apocalypse is stuck in traffic again and fights the urge to crush all the automobiles in his path.
Victor Synn says, "Would you like me to slow down for awhile?"
Nyah Hunt nods her head, and she smiles, "It would be nice to actually see what's out the window for once."
Victor Synn sighs and takes his foot off the pedal, dropping the car down to about 60.
From outside, Apocalypse finally breaks free of the traffic and hits the freeway. He starts to cruise and pulls up behind a slowing Monte Carlo.
From outside, Modified 1985 Monte Carlo SS is one tricked out Monte Carlo, jacked rear end with big tires, large hoodscoop, body cut to be more aerodynamic, and more importantly it stays at 60.
From outside, The large black truck looms closer and closer. Its headlights turn red and flick to high a couple of times. "What is it with these humans...can't they read the speed limit is 70......" he growls as he accelerates closer.
Nyah Hunt leans foward, and she flips the radio back on...Country..no..Religious stuff..no..not the oldies either. Typical for someone her age. A Rap and R&B station. She'll settle for that. Old school NWA starts to thump out of the speakers, "Hope you don't mind this stuff.." Her eyes soon catch wind of the truck that's following them, and the red lights aren't good, "Got a truck trailing us.."
Victor Synn glances at Nyah, "Your the one who told me
to slow down. I'm not too worried about the thing, probably one of the
robot guys."
From outside, Swindle jeeps!
Nyah Hunt frowns, and she sighs, "Yeah, but it means I got one of Shock's lap dogs watching me..If it's a Con. And I never saw this one before. Well when I told you to slow down we weren't being tracked. I was expecting to get somemore time away from them."
Victor Synn shrugs, "I'll lose 'em." and punches the gas, the car lurches forwards with Dragracer level acceleration, and in fact a bit more then that, crushing Victor and Nyah back against the seat he hits the next offramp at full speed, the car hugging the turn even at high speed.
From outside, Apocalypse moves a bit closer, listening intently to the conversation. o 0 (Interesting...these two have affiliation with the Decepticons...I have not had a chance to paruse their dossiers.....but) he moves back a couple of feet and continues to follow. He is unmarked as far as insignia is concerned and you cannot see inside the cab. He pauses for a minute or two and honks a deafening horn *FWAAHH FWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!'
Nyah Hunt gahs! As she's crushed by the force of the acceleration...
From outside, Inside the huge truck, a couple of panels click into place redirecting the outflow of ehaust through the engine and giving the truck and incredible boost in speed. It is almost unheard of for something of that size. "They want to play cat and mouse....well they will not elude me that easilly." With a click hisss....his tracking radar comes to life and hones in on the souped up muscle car.

Victor Synn
Victor Synn growls faintly, "Dammit, you know what? Fuck this bullshit, I'm calling Shockwave now... I'm not going to be harrassed and pushed around." he reaches for the communicator, "Far as I'm concerned this is exactly the kind of bullshit I'm not going to stand for."
Nyah Hunt nods her head slowly, "I agree with you, but he might not be aware he's even following us.." She looks at the window again to look at the truck.
Victor Synn grunts, "He's gonna be. One thing I'm sure of is that the truck won't be able to maneuver like a car can." he hits the end of the ramp and turns hard, the car squeels around sharply and he shoots over the bridge across the highway, "I'm going to find out what the slag is up with this prick... this is one of those times I wish Archive had hooked me up with some offensive capability."
Nyah Hunt just shakes her head slowly, and she reaches for her pocket to get her communicator, "Mine's off..So's the tracking device on it. Any good place for us to lose him at so you can get in touch with Shockwave?"
Victor Synn grins, "Look, I doubt he can tail us any better then anyone else I've ever had to lose. I'll ditch him in time." he throws the car into another harsh turn going down an accessroad through some woods, "Besides, YOUR the one who made me slow down, we'll have to delay getting to Virginia Beach to lose this bozo."
From outside, Apocalypse takes an offramp and reverses direction...he follows the faint beep on his radar scope. It begins to fade away and he curses at not being able to just smash his way to the other side of the highway. He accelerates faster and faster, weaving as best as he can through the traffic, like a crazy version of pole position...but this time the other cars move out of his way. *FWWAAHHH FWAAHHHH FWAAAAAAAAAAAAAH* "Whomever they are...they are good...."
From outside, Swindle, on the other hand, is parked in a McD's parking lot, taking a lonnnnng nap.
Nyah Hunt looks out the window, and she sighs, "He's gone for now..Still I'd contact Shock to make sure he doesn't harrass us. Hey like I said.." She acks as she's tossed about even with being belted in. She fehs, "I didn't intend for him to be here. For all I knew Shockwave knows nothing about where I am now."
Victor Synn says, "Yeah, sure would be nice to keep it that way." he slows a bit and looks around, "Alright, we'll be comming up on the water tower that this road serves soon."
From outside, Apocalypse follows as best he can. His signal has long since died, so now he relies on instincts alone. He ponders just where they would have gone and keeps his sensors peeled for the car. "One thing going for me is its gaudy appearance..." he chuckles and tries to follow skid marks and watch for weary drivers reactions. o O 0 (Possibly this way...) he takes his best shot and continues to weave through traffic in his search.
Nyah Hunt looks for something, anything to hold onto. She mmms, "I'll be looking foward to getting back on my feet once we hit Virigina Beach..I'm going to be pretty tender."
Victor Synn smirks, "That a comment about my driving young lady?" he grins and pulls under the watertower, stopping the car, "Hand me my binoculars, their in the glove box, I wanna see if I can get a visual of the guy from on the tower."
Nyah Hunt's tenderized, and she eyes Victor, "This has been better than some chases I've been in.." She removes her belt, and she reaches into the glove box. She takes the binoculars, and hands them over to him. She looks up, "I'll join you up there or I'll make way for some of the brush there."
From outside, Apocalypse continues to scope the area, he slows down and takes a higher route to increase his range. He gets a small blip that resembles the signature he noted before...but it quickly dies away. He grumbles as he continues his pursuit in the direction of the blip. In the distance he notices a water tower....nothing that really stands out just yet though.
Victor Synn nods, "I need to move fast, figure out where the freak is. We'll need to put ALOT of distance between us and him before I bother to call Shockwave. What would really be nice is to find a heavy metal zone of some sort." he slides out of the car, "Feel free to hop out and loosen up, but I'm going to be up and down fast."
Victor Synn has left.
From outside, Victor Synn has arrived.
Nyah Hunt pushes herself outside of the window, but she just sits there. She watches Victor climb up the tower. She says with some concern, "Careful up there."
From outside, Apocalypse continues to drive, more casually this time. He takes time to observe all of the off ramps and side streets in search of that car. While it should stand out like a sore thumb...it also will be hard to pick out among the seemingly infinite possiblities. He ponders "If I were trying to get away from me where would I want to go....better yet what would give me an advanage. Heights.....he begins to search for tall structures that can be easily accessed."
From outside, Victor Synn climbs up the watertower quickly, rather athletic of him to get to the top that quickly, he takes a long look through the binoculars to see what he can see, scanning all around the roads...
Nyah Hunt just watches Victor climb, and waits for him to give her news on his findings. She's enjoying the fresh air right now. She eyes the radio that's giving off some static, and slides back in to turn it off.
From outside, Apocalypse has a good track record with hunches when he notices amidst some trees what looks like a vehicle matching the description of the one he was tracking. He also notices a tower nearby. He nods internally and take a back road to approach from the other direction. "Very keen......very keen indeed."
From outside, Victor Synn has partially disconnected.
From outside, Victor Synn frowns, "Don't like this..." he mutters, and hops back on the ladder, quickly snaking his way down it he looks at Nyah, "Back in the car, I don't see him anywhere... we're going to double back over our trail." he slides through the window and waits for Nyah to get in before backing out from under the Tower.
Victor Synn has arrived.
Nyah Hunt pushes herself back inside, and she grumbles, "I really hope we can ditch this guy..He's pretty good.."
Victor Synn grins, "I've yet to meet my match... at least when I'm trying."
Nyah Hunt smiles, and she looks about their surroundings, "So much for the beach. Not like we wouldn't of attracted whoever it is attention to begin with."
Victor Synn says, "Oh no, we're still going to the beach, just gotta shake this guy first." he kicks the car into reverse and backs out from under the water tower, squeeling back the direction he came on the access road, "And that shouldn't take too much longer."
From outside, Apocalypse creeps up from the rear and then takes a cross street to cut off the path of the retreating car. "Your game ceases now......" The huge truck circles around and comes to a halt in front of them. "You have provided an excellent and challenging target.....identify who you are!" he bellows in the deepest voice you have ever heard.
Nyah Hunt nods her head sharply, "I trust you to get us both away from this guy. If I could I'd call..." She looks at the truck, and she frowns, "Shit..Anyway we can get out of this now other than abandoning ship?"
Victor Synn slams on the breaks, "Yeah, there's a way out of this." he slides out of the car and grabs the communicator, throwing it to the truck he says, "If that isn't enough goddamned identification, then I'll call your fucking one-eye'd boss and get your ass strung up. Deny it all you want, I can SMELL a Decepticon when one's around."
Victor Synn has left.
From outside, Victor Synn has arrived.
Nyah Hunt almost bangs her head on the dash, but she's able to brace herself to keep her head out of harms way. She was in the process of getting herself belted in. She slips out of the window, and she frowns. She sits on the door, and she reaches for something around her neck...
A chain with a Decepticon signal charm on it. She tosses it to the ground to where the communicator is. She eyes it, "That's all you need to know.."
Apocalypse lets the communicator fall to the ground. He remains in his truck mode, stoicly. "Your emotional outburst is duly noted but of no consequence." He takes a look at the two faces and then connects to a satellite datalinks. After a couple of minutes he cross references the photos with files and rosters until he comes up with two names "Nyah Hunt and Victor Synn.......it is a pleasure to finally meet the two of you."
Victor Synn says, "Now get lost, clear? I don't like having you goons snooping around when I'm trying to work." he walks over and picks up the communicator, "I've explained to Shockwave the way I work, he knows I don't like to be tailed. He can track my communicator if he wants me, other then that he leaves me alone... That goes for all of you freaks.""
Nyah Hunt narrows her eyes, and she looks at Apocalypse, "Now that you met us. Take Victor's advise..Shockwave wouldn't be all that happy if either of us are being pestured like this."
Apocalypse booms "Now lets get this straight...it is my job to keeps tabs on the both of you. Whether this is of your liking or no is of no consequence. Your feelings are completely irrelevant. I am under the direct command of Shockwave himself...I am sure he would not approve of the tone you are taking, nor the way in which you describe our leader." With that he begins to move forward. "Now take your communicator and get back to business...and know you are always being watched...." before he leaves "For your own safety of course...." he pulls out and hits the road.
Victor Synn looks at the Communicator, "We'll see about that."
Nyah Hunt reaches back for her chain, and she eyes Apocalypse, "And I just happen to be under his direct command as well. My feelings are damned right relevant. Now why don't you just GO. And from how well I know him he would of told us both."
Victor Synn sighs, "What a PRICK... but we'll wait until after vacation to talk to Shock."
Nyah Hunt nods her head, and she struggles with getting the clasp of her chain to close. She says, "No kidding. And I damn well know Shockwave wouldn't give those orders. To trail after _me_ yeah, but he respects your privacy."
Victor Synn says, "That's because I've not once every allowed his lackeys to get away with tailing me. If Shockwave wants me to work for him, he'll accept my terms. I have no fear of death, the way I see it he doesn't want to waste someone of my talents."
Nyah Hunt still fiddles with the clasp, and she nods, "That or he trusts you enough to not turn on him. And you gained his respect." She smiles, and mmmphs, "Well now he's going to know where I'm at unfortunately."
Victor Synn says, "Nyah... he was gonna figure that out sooner or later anyway. I'm hoping he respects me enough to leave us be. If not I'm going to have a very long talk with him."
Nyah Hunt fehs, and she eyes the clasp again, "He left you be during the majority of that hunt of yours. He didn't help out as you saw when Mike and whatever his name were iced."
Victor Synn says, "Just because we work for him doesn't change who and what we are... we still need privacy, we still need vacations, and we still need a life."
Nyah Hunt nods her head and she smiles, "He's gotten the idea of both privacy to an extent, and vacations he understands the need to let even his own men take some down time."
Victor Synn grins, "Lets get going eh? We're wasting valuable time!"
Nyah Hunt finally gets her chain around her neck, or not. She ums, "Mind helping me out here? I haven't taken this thing off since I can remember.."
Victor Synn smirks and shakes his head, walking over he fastens the clasp, "Where'd you get that anyway, blinky make it for you?"
Nyah Hunt nods her head, and she smiles, "Yeah..I've had it from the time I met him. Oh thanks for the help."
Victor Synn smiles, "No problem..." he sighs a bit and walks around to the driver side of the car, "Well now..."
Nyah Hunt lifts herself up into the passenger side window. She's gotten rather good at this in the past few days, "Lets see about getting away from here before whoever that was comes back."
Victor Synn nods, and slides in the driver side.
Victor Synn has left.
Nyah Hunt straps herself in, and she leans herself back. She probs up her feet on the dash, "I'm not going to complain about going to damn fast this time around." She smirks and grabs hold of something.
Victor Synn cackles and floors the gas, seeing as how the car was still running. Lurching forward with some wheelspin and the front lifting off slightly the car shoots up towards the main drag... breaking enough to get the front wheels down Vic swings out onto the road leading to the Onramp and tears towards the overpass.
Nyah Hunt gacks again, and it will take time for her to get used to that. She pats her jacket down in hopes of finding a tape to feed the tape deck with, but alas she was unprepared for the vacation gig, "Shit..Too bad I left my tapes back in Shock's room or back in New York."
Victor Synn smirks, kicking the car onto the onramp he slows down a bit, "Thats what you get when you drive with a Race car driver you know... we're a special breed."
Nyah Hunt smirks, "I'll have to keep a few on me then. How much longer till we're actually there? It's one of those places I've never been to."
Victor Synn shrugs, "Depends, if traffic is light and I don't have to confuse any cops on the way we should be there in about 4 hours."
Nyah Hunt nods her head, "We could of went to Jersey. Shorter trip even if the beaches aren't that great."
Victor Synn says, "We can go to Jersey any time, but it's too close to the brownstone, and as you said, the beaches aren't great."
Victor Synn says, "If we're going to vacation, we might as well do it right."
Nyah Hunt hehs, "True..Though the southern part ain't
bad. But you got a point too close to that damned house."
